Privacy Policy
Short version: this website collects nothing about you. No forms, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising trackers.
What this site does not do. There are no contact forms, no logins, no shopping cart, no newsletter signup, no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media trackers, and no cookies set by us. We do not build profiles of visitors and we have no way to identify you from a visit.
Everything below describes the narrow set of data that is unavoidable when any website is served, plus what happens if you choose to email or call us.
1. Scope
This policy covers contractorsupport.net (the "Site") and the information Contractor Support LLC ("we," "us," "our") receives through it or through direct contact with us. It does not cover third-party websites we link to, each of which has its own policy.
2. Data our hosting provider processes
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes certain technical data in order to deliver the page and to protect the Site from attack and abuse. This typically includes:
- your IP address;
- the date and time of your request and the page requested;
- your browser type, version, and operating system;
- the referring page, if any.
Cloudflare may also set a security cookie (commonly named __cf_bm) used to distinguish human visitors from automated bots. It is a short-lived security measure, not an advertising or analytics cookie, and it is not used to track you across sites.
We do not receive, review, export, or analyze these logs. Cloudflare's handling of them is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
3. Google Fonts
The Site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and basic request information. We receive nothing from this and use it for nothing. Google's handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
We disclose this because it is the only third party, besides our host, that your browser contacts when loading this Site. If this concerns you, the fonts can be served from our own domain instead, which removes the connection entirely.
4. When you contact us
The Site has no contact form. If you email or call us, you are choosing to send us information directly, and we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, and whatever you tell us about your business or project.
We use that information for one purpose: to respond to you and, if you become a client, to perform the work. Our email is hosted with Zoho Mail; our phone service is a business voice provider. Both process that information on our behalf in order to deliver the service.
We do not add you to a mailing list or a text-message list from an inbound inquiry. We currently send no marketing email and no marketing SMS at all. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and any such messaging will include a working opt-out.
5. Client information
If you engage us, we will necessarily handle material about your business — license details, financial and job-cost information, bid numbers, subcontractor and supplier pricing, customer information, and similar records. We treat that as confidential under our Terms & Conditions, use it only to perform the work you have asked for, and disclose it only as you direct, as needed to complete a filing or task on your behalf, or where required by law.
6. We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks. We do not trade or rent contact lists. The only parties who handle it are the service providers who make our email, phone, and website function, and they act on our instructions.
7. How long we keep things
We keep correspondence and client records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations — generally the duration of the relationship plus the applicable retention period, typically several years. Inquiries that do not become engagements are kept only as long as useful and then deleted. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a business of our size: reputable hosted providers, access controls, encryption in transit (this Site is served over HTTPS), and authentication on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send government identification numbers, bank account or card numbers, or passwords by email.
9. Children
The Site is directed to construction businesses and their owners. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information a business holds about you, and to appeal a refusal.
The Utah Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses above specified revenue and processing thresholds, and we are below them — so it does not currently impose obligations on us. We mention it for transparency rather than to claim coverage.
Regardless of whether any statute requires it, we will honor a reasonable request to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@contractorsupport.net and we will respond within a reasonable period. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Because the Site sets no cookies of our own and runs no trackers, there is nothing here for you to opt out of.
11. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it. Since we do not track visitors across sites in the first place, the signal makes no difference to how this Site behaves.
12. Changes to this policy
If we add a contact form, analytics, a newsletter, or any other feature that collects information, we will update this policy before turning it on and revise the effective date above.
